Installation with Stereo-Video-Projection and Voice Recordings
The different parts of a split personality are symbolized by 2 chairs facing each other in space. Two different video recordings of spastic hand/arm movements which are synced with its respective sound recordings are projected respectively on each chair. The content of the speech recordings is a bilingual (German and Chinese) account about personal experiences of violence and the desire of being loved. The sound recordings are arranged on 2 speakers which are placed beneath each chair.
